Teresa of Olson House Design in Milwaukee redesigned 2 bath projects in her client’s 100 year old home. The home sits just north of Milwaukee in a beautiful and historic suburb, filled with charming houses and landscaping. She wanted to bring some modern touches to this older home, and the clients wanted color and life. So they collaborated to create some stunning spaces with thoughtful, useful designs. As an architectural photographer for interior designers, I love that I’m invited into spaces like these.
For the kid’s bath in this home, they paired a gorgeous emerald green with some unexpected colors and motifs. The tile surround on the bathtub feels luxurious, and is a space the kids and really grow into.
The primary bath is jaw-dropping, with 12ft by 6ft giant watercoloresque tiles on the shower wall. These tiles steal the show, but equally beautiful is the custom cabinetry with ample storage and in-cabinet lighting. My favorite touch was the stone countertop with blue veining, it was perfect with the color palette in the room! And the sink hardware was so unique, I’ve never seen anything like the designs that Teresa chose.
Teresa, you are so talented, and I can’t wait to work with you on more projects in future. It’s a joy to be an architectural photographer for interior designers like Teresa who are as kind as they are talented.
